Drive into work was more fun than I'd like, with black ice and snirt to worry about for most of it, though Rachael had an even worse time, apperently.

Considering we haven't actualy exchanged yet (off to get a mortage on Wednesday hopefully) I've done plenty of planning :-)

ADSL from Zen, with their supported router - priced and postcode checked, need BT survey next. This should make the site quicker than currently (faster outbound than on NTL)

TV over Sky+, priced and ready to order.

Still umm'ing and arr'ing over the house intranet layout. The server can live in the loft (away from the boiler and water !), which will mean at least some CAT5 from the first floor study (ADSL in) up and back down again to feed the desktops.

I'm not sure if I should just 802.11g everything else, or at least run gigabit eth to the lounge... probably best to start with 802.11 for now, and just run a long spur from the study across the lounge beams for the jukebox.

Which means I'll need some 802.11 kit, and two PCMCIA adapters....

Oh, and upmystreet.com says the area is great.

Flexi-time is great - you can drag your arse into work at 0930 and still beat your boss to your desks :-)
